WE are happy to report:

Sunday, November 6, the Lord into His body here added two more precious souls.  Gary and Jenilyn Ursua were immersed into Christ for the remission of sins after morning worship service. They had expressed their desire to follow Jesus Friday night, November 4, after the Home Bible Study (HBS) conducted at Bro Clyd Ursua’s place in Numancia. They want to be baptized Sunday with the knowledge of the church. These two babes in Christ are younger brother and sister of Clyd, one of congregation’s lead men.  Together with his wife Joycee and their two sons CJ and John Lloyd, Clyd’s family are active in every church services.

Please help us pray for these new Christians to continue and willing to be nurtured in the faith.

Update on transport program for members who are living far from the meeting place:

Last Sunday we were not able to pick-up some people specially those coming from Tangalan town. The tricycle cart that we are renting was broken (drive chain and sprocket trouble), the only cart we could find who would do service with the price that fits our budget. The regulars are charging high rentals 300 to 350 pesos excluding the gasoline, while for the old trixe we are paying 150 only for one day plus 150 pesos expenses on the gasoline.

We are seeing the need of having a tricycle cart. Janel and I are willing for our motorbike to be attached with a side cart for this purpose; only we have no immediate funding to acquire it. The cost of one side cart is 20,000 pesos (around 365 USD) excluding the painting and the Land Transportation registration. Brothers, if any of you are willing to share with us of this burden in bringing living-far members and non-members in the service of the Lord at least once a week for their spiritual progress, please direct your help to Banilad church of Christ c/o Bro Chito Cusi, 88 Gov.
