Ephesians 4:16

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Acts 2:38-42

38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."

40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

2They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

What we believe  Elders  Ministers  Deacons

We at the Jersey Village Church of Christ believe we are put on this earth to follow the example of Jesus when He said, "I am among you as one who serves." (Luke 22:27). We desire to follow In His Steps and serve our neighbors. We know first hand that many in our community today are in need and are searching for answers to the concerns of life. Some are lonely, many are depressed, and still others are just simply worn down and hurting from all the pain that life can bring. As Christians, we aren't immune to these problems either. We have been there, we have felt that pain.

Our congregation is full of plain ordinary folks, people just like you, who desire to serve God by helping their fellow man. As a church, we have Bible classes, activities and programs designed for children, teens, singles, young married couples, women, men, parents, and our more seasoned citizens (whom we refer to as VIPs). We have fellowship activities that are designed to be fun for people of all ages. We are always organizing support groups that can address the specific needs of our members and our neighbors.

Our members have a wide range of life experiences and backgrounds that nearly everyone could find something in common with. We have stay-at-home mothers, home schoolers, teachers, lawyers, business owners, engineers, sales people, sports enthusiasts, police officers, retirees and more. We also have those with financial worries, marriage wounds, concerns over their children, and all the other problems that we all face in life. In other words, we are normal people facing normal problems, just like you.

Most importantly, we are a body of people committed to Jesus Christ. He came to the world to save us from our sin. He gave us the perfect gift of eternal life through His blood, shed on the cross at Calvary. We are dedicated to sharing His Good News with others, so that they, too, can find the peace that passes all understanding that a life given over to Christ receives.

We aren't in the judgment business. That's not our job. We are in the serving business, and we want to serve you. Give us that opportunity. Come visit us at 8810 Jones Road, just 1 mile north of Highway 290, in Northwest Houston. Come see what a church dedicated to Jesus Christ, who commanded us to "love one another", is all about.
